We are pleased to announce a small return to normality in not one, but two in-person events at Island Books!
On Tuesday April 19th at 6:30pm Island Books is welcoming author Lee Kravetz, in conversation with local author Joshua Mohr and our very own blogger emeritus Miriam Landis, to celebrate the publication of The Last Confessions of Sylvia P. A historical fiction, based on real events, this novel imagines the inspiration behind Sylvia Plath’s penning of The Bell Jar.
Hailed as: “Bold, compelling, and gorgeously written, The Last Confessions of Sylvia P. is slightly reminiscent of AS Byatt’s Possession, but instead of a love story, this is a tale of rivalry and betrayal. A truly satisfying page-turner.“
— Karen Joy Fowler, Booker Prize Finalist for We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves and author of The Jane Austen Book Club
