Hooked on Books is a celebration for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and young kids, and a showcase for local children's authors. Hear dynamic storytellers bring reading to life! This is a free family event co-sponsored by Seattle Hadassah and the Stroum Jewish Community Center. While there's no cost, attendees are encouraged to register at the SJCC website.
- Meet local authors and illustrators, including Brianna Caplan Sayres (Tiara Saurus Rex and Where Do Steam Trains Sleep at Night?), Ben Clanton (It Came in the Mail), Wendy Wahman (Don't Lick the Dog), Elizabeth Rose Stanton (Peddles and Henny), Suzanne Kaufman (I Love Monkey), Jessica Peterson (Old Tracks, New Tricks), Dana Arnim (Bartholomew Quill), and Rochelle Kochin (The Little Esrog)!
- Sing along with Nancy Stewart!
- Work with your hands at craft, book, and art stations!
- Eat some delicious snacks!
