MIHS PTSA Screening Ijeoma Oluo

Ijeoma UluoPlease join the Mercer Island community for a viewing of the speech that Ijeoma Oluo gave to our Mercer Island High School students during Black History Month. Ijeoma is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller So You Want to Talk About Race. 

Also included in the event will be a viewing of a student documentary, “Finding Community,” created by our Black Student Union. There will be a discussion led by a student panel and facilitated by Mercer Island parent and community member, Kimberly Miyazawa Frank, Global Head of DEI & Philanthropy at AppLovin.
